How do I get a website for my business in Jamaica?+
Create a free Hobrva account, submit your business details and send the listing for review. Once it is approved, your page goes live with your services, location, opening hours and phone or WhatsApp buttons. Search engines may discover it, but ranking is not guaranteed.
Does my business have to be registered?+
Yes. For every Hobrva package your business must be registered. Sole proprietors and companies can register through the Companies Office of Jamaica. We ask for proof of ownership so customers can trust that each listing belongs to a real business.
Does my business need to be on Google Maps?+
Yes. Your business must be listed on Google Maps before you apply, because Maps is where many customers confirm a location and read directions. You can add your business for free with a Google Business Profile.
What is the difference between the three Hobrva packages?+
The Starter Website (JMD 10,000) is a simple mobile-friendly page built from your details. The Custom Landing Page (JMD 20,000) is a one-page site designed around your brand. The Full Custom Website (from JMD 40,000) is a multi-page project with a written scope and quote.
How does the 14-day free trial and payment work?+
The 14-day free trial starts after your listing is verified. Near the end of the trial, bank transfer instructions appear in your dashboard. Send the payment, upload your receipt, and your one-time payment is confirmed once our team has reviewed it.
Can customers message me on WhatsApp?+
Yes. If you add a WhatsApp number, your page shows a WhatsApp button that opens a chat with an optional starter message. The customer sends the message from their own WhatsApp account, so you reply directly with no middleman.
Can I change my website after it goes live?+
Yes. The Starter Website includes three completed change requests within 30 days after launch, and the Custom Landing Page includes five. Rejected requests do not use up your allowance. Full Custom projects set revision terms in the quote.
What happens if I stop signing in?+
Free trial listings are hidden after 15 days without a sign in, with reminder emails on day 7 and day 14. They return automatically after your next sign in. Paid websites stay online, and we only send friendly reminders to check in.
Will my website show up on Google?+
Your page is built so search engines can find it, with a parish and category web address, a sitemap entry and structured business data. No one can promise rankings, because Google decides what appears. A complete Google Business Profile helps customers find you too.
